Next four days will be spent in two big churches - the Grote kerk in Edam which truly is huge, and the Domkerk in Utrecht which would be more or less as big except half of it collapsed in a tornado in the 17th century.

Two days of St Matthews passion on flute and recorder, then a style pivot to singing 20th century German church music by Diessler and Reda, plus two church services. Hope the cantor doesn’t gives us too many hymn settings to sight read on Sunday morning! :D

#Radio Irrtum! is a German language #radioShow exploring the sonic vastness of the #underground. Emitted transmissions may raise attention for new unheard #music all over this planets genre spectrum. Don't worry about the German language aspect - it's all about the #music!

This time there is even pure flute music inside, just take a look at the genres we'll cover:

- shape shifting, dreamy, and experimental #PopMusic
- brand-new authentic 90's #DnB
- club smashing #Bass
- Distorted #Tekkno
- #experimental stuff
- (like the mentioned #flute music which doesn't have to be "comfortable", just because it's made using a single flute… just sayin')

There is #CreativeCommons licensed music in it, and of course there are #FediArtists featured, like @wroong@s.basspistol.org (well — ok, this time just him, as far as I am aware).

First weekend off in weeks, no students, workshops, rehearsals or concerts either paid or not. I've had such a lovely day! Went to a concert as a listener, organ music by Frescobaldi and Scheidemann played by my husband Ere, and psalms by Orlando di Lasso sung by Cantores Martini, the small vocal ensemble at the Dom church. I told Ere the Scheidemann piece grooved like a pious moose. :) The center of town was packed full with people sitting at ouside cafes enjoying the sun.

Before and after had enough time to practise choir parts, traverso parts for Matteus and baroque bassoon pieces for the next lesson some time in the future when my teacher comes back from tour. And make a pan of apple sauce. Now I'm going to continue my detective story book binge. :)
