@cmthiede I only heard about it because someone on TikTok made a video about it and I guess she had been posting a lot of of Luigi Mangione content.
The cops railroading that guy for a crime just so the CEOs don’t have to live in fear really radicalized a bunch of people, and I’m here for it.

@dalias @NMBA @pezmico yes, I struggle to understand how someone like Andrew Tate can be platformed and presented to children, but these same platforms ripped down Luigi Mangione’s pages simply because he got arrested for something he’s likely innocent for. Everything I have read that he posted online showed me he wouldn’t be someone I would hang out with, but he certainly wasn’t blatantly promoting violence and terrorism and hate.
Andrew Tate was arrested for assaulting and selling women. You know, human beings. I’m pretty sure he was convicted and did time for it, so he’s actually been proven guilty unlike Luigi. Then Luigi Mangione is arrested for allegedly murdering one mass murder and he is erased from the internet. Weird, huh?
I also find it strange that we’re not allowed to look at Luigi’s social media profiles, but it’s totally fine for ABC to make a documentary about his life based on information they obtained from his social media profiles.
So I guess they took down his profile so that people would watch the ABC documentary? There’s a documentary about Andrew Tate but he’s still allowed on the Internet.
Wait, do you think it’s because Andrew Tate only hurts women and we aren’t considered people?

People in New Hampshire who don’t pay for auto insurance are going to have a real problem with this if an immigrant from Massachusetts drives into them causing damages when they find out the insurance company isn’t going to pay because their drivers license isn’t valid here, despite that person paying their insurance premiums.
I just saw my first AI music video, and it was so gross. The music itself was kind of catchy the way a jingle in a commercial would be, but it felt eerie and shallow.
Music usually moves me in ways I don’t realize unless I’m paying attention, and there was no chance of anything like that happening with this.
And of course the video itself was very obviously AI, all the people looked like illustrations.
It showed up in my youtube feed because they named it #denydefenddepose Ew. How absolutely gross to use AI “music” to profit off Luigi’s badassness.

I tried to give him a little cash for his commissary last night but I got an error message saying the maximum amount of Inmate deposits has been reached. The BOP website didn’t mention a max, but it brought me joy to see that.
I think I’m going to drop a thank you card in the mail. Or maybe not since my home address has to go in the return address section.
