Bing is testing 'AI Search' mode -> And I've been testing it a bit since yesterday. Bing enables you to view its reasoning, then provides an AIO-like response. There are inline citations, and then a list of sources at the bottom. Then you can continue the conversation via preselected Bing queries. You can't ask freeform questions based on the initial response. See some screenshots below.

@fosstastic I don't know if this is relevant to the point about Bing's independence:

#Kagi is kind of curious as a bit of a new thing in search. But, like so many others, it doesn’t paginate search results on mobile (preferring the endless scroll). This means losing position when jumping in and out of articles or returning to the browser. So annoying. Only #Bing has proper pagination. Essential for deep diving into a topic.

" trans -b :{your_desired_language_code} '{PASTED-TEXT}' " and the translate-shell identifies the source language by default
To find your language code : 'trans -list-all'
An ' -p' option to play the audio of the translation is available as well, but i can't tell if all languages are complete .
