He is suing the uni, naturally.</p><p>These days, it is very easy for the students to cheat and for the professors to catch, with both camps wielding AI. Accidental contamination is inevitable, since millions of students are permitted to use AI to "check the grammar" of their writings. Also, when both the AI and the humans learn from the same tired sources, there is bound to be some overlap in the work product. On the other hand, if the writing is statistically too close to the generated text, there is strong presumption of cheating.
