The most resilient security teams I've worked with bring different backgrounds, educations, and worldviews to the table. When one person misses something, another catches it—precisely because they think differently.What frustrates me is watching companies abandon diversity initiatives while simultaneously wondering why they can't fill critical security roles or why they keep having the same blind spots in their defenses. The evidence is clear: homogeneous teams create homogeneous solutions with predictable vulnerabilities.I'm proud to be part of a security community that largely gets this.
