I only got it in autumn from my parents' garden so I didn't know what to expect. For those of you who don't know this berry, it's a cross between gooseberry and black currant. In German we call it <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Jochelbeere?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Jochelbeere</a> (that's the name I would use) or <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Jostabeere?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Jostabeere</a> (*Jo*hannisbeere + *Sta*chelbeere - the German names of the "parent" fruits).
