PerfectDark<p>I'm just thinking out loud here, but are there many who enjoy <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/emulation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>emulation</span></a> via <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/PCGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PCGaming</span></a> who might want to do a bit of a weekly or monthly play-along together?</p><p>Like a book club for older games? </p><p>I know for the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SteamDeck" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SteamDeck</span></a> community there is <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/RetroDECK" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RetroDECK</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/EmuDeck" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EmuDeck</span></a> but for desktops themselves the options are many.</p><p>Might be nice to all decide on a game to play, then share our thoughts on it via a #?</p><p>These things rarely work, or keep up steam...but thinking aloud, it could be fun!</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a></p>

As far as <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/gaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gaming</span></a> goes, the old PlayStation games are still a mystery to me for the most part.</p><p>Excited to jump into the Spec II mod for Gran Turismo 4, though! I'm on a bit of a cars/racing games kick lately. My fav way for <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/emulation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>emulation</span></a> on the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SteamDeck" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SteamDeck</span></a> by far.</p><p>This update (0.9.0b) brings changes:</p><p>SteamRomManager &amp; Steam Sync for easy game imports.</p><p>PortMaster for Linux game ports &amp; Ruffle for Flash games.</p><p>40% smaller size, faster builds, modular framework.</p><p>RetroENGINE lets you launch games directly.</p><p>New ES-DE theme, emulator updates, and more!</p><p>I AM SO EXCITED!!!</p>
