Cool, Fennec is interested in #UnifiedPush support [1]

We will probably have it on Fennec before it gets upstream (if it does 🤞).

That means UnifiedPush will be available for "installable web applications". So we'll have push notifications with some new apps !

I’m part of a private listserv made up of industry colleagues. It’s a place where we can exchange ideas, provide support, and share things we’re working on. I recently shared my new notes app @recollect and part of the thread was answering questions and explaining why and how I built the #PWA. I thought it might be worth sharing for those who are #IndieDev that create things based on passion and idealism, instead of opportunism.

Why doesn't Firefox support PWA's ? I don't want to install a Chromium based browser just for the sake of having some apps pinned to the dock or having to install 3rd party Electron apps so I'm giving PWA's ForFirefox a try, it works well, at least for the time being, but this should be something native.

It's not a deal breaker thing but it's just another thing to add to the pile of reasons to ditch Firefox in favor of a Chromium based browser.
