It’s altogether a different beast, but I think I like it. It takes a minute or so to properly dry on the 90gsm Clairefontaine, but once done doesn’t shift. I remember with fondness the bottles of Bull’s Blood and Blue Nun at the dinner table when mum and dad were being ‘posh’. Decades later I like to think I can tell the difference between my clarets and burgundies and that’s because mum and dad decided to learn all about wine…Today’s ink swatch is in honour of that Bull’s Blood wine from Romania: Dominant Industry Romania Red. It’s one of their standard inks, but because it’s so saturated it has some great sheening. Apologies for the “ghosting”. Mona⁷Cleaned three fountain pens after work today, a Hongdian M2, a Platinum Curidas and a generic Chinese bolt-action retractable fountain pen whose name I have forgotten. Jim P.Anyone get their hands on the Diamine Forever inks yet?I already have a few waterproof blue inks and a black ink, but some of the other colors they just released would be nice. Cherry Red, especially.Though of the few places I've seen post about them, I don't think they've done a great job with color accuracy in the photos/scans.
