Frederic<p>Bought some <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Fairbuds" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fairbuds</span></a>, and the initial user experience is terrible:</p><p>Case didn't go into pairing mode as described in the manual, because they didn't bother to add "please remove this teeny tiny paper strip you probably didn't notice first, it's blocking the contacts".</p><p>Downloaded the app, battery level/firmware version was not detected, EQ didn't work. Found a forum thread after some googling, location services must be activated for that to work. Stated nowhere, app never asked for permission.</p>
