Nazo<p>Another thing I wanted to share out of the stuff on my Switch:</p><p>I've been using emulators since forever, but this is still, by far, the best emulation collection release I have ever seen. The whole interface is amazing. You're comfortably in your room as quiet ambient sounds come in from outside (in day you hear cars quietly passing by and birds) with game posters on the walls and such and a shelf full of Genesis/Megadrive games that it actually puts <em>IN</em> a console shown on screen, then it plays on a TV on screen. (It can be set to load games directly in fullscreen which I recommend, but it was neater to show it merely zooming in on the virtual TV for the clip.)</p><p><a href="https://urusai.social/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://urusai.social/tags/Emulation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Emulation</span></a> <a href="https://urusai.social/tags/Emulators" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Emulators</span></a> <a href="https://urusai.social/tags/SEGAGenesis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SEGAGenesis</span></a> <a href="https://urusai.social/tags/SEGAMegadrive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SEGAMegadrive</span></a> <a href="https://urusai.social/tags/SEGAClassics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SEGAClassics</span></a></p>

David J. Atkinson<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://wandering.shop/@cstross" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>cstross</span></a></span> Wow! This is a great example of the power of virtual platforms, <a href="https://c.im/tags/emulators" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>emulators</span></a>, and also disciplined state control in a programming language. The fact that you can run this inside a <a href="https://c.im/tags/pdf" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pdf</span></a> is also instructive — yet another attack vector.<br>Also, I’ll bet there are many packages out there to do cross-compilation from <a href="https://c.im/tags/RISC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RISC</span></a>-V to other machines.
