TomName a better companion for a snow day. I’ve been craving starting a Pokémon game for a while, but was hung up on which one. I own physical cars of gen 1-3 , have a DS Emulator on my phone, and have the switch titles on my PC that I’ve never played as well as romHacks on my pi Gameboy. For Pete's Sake!<p>I am in a real pickle and giving myself a right headache. Hehe...b</p><p>Every few years I like to re-collate, re-sort and stock check my DVD/Blu Ray collection. </p><p>This is no mean feat as my 2000+ collection (some 3500+ actual disks) has to be checked against my database(s) sorted alphabetically and filed away.</p><p>However, since I last performed this my collection has grown. My storage had changed (the in built wardrobe I used previously is gone with house reconfiguration after the attic extension was done) and my current folders don't fit anywhere effectively. </p><p>My office looks like a dirty bomb has gone off in it while I hunt out all disks and corral them into one place. I then need to update my Databases (plural as the 1st company I used went bust and stopped supporting their app.. I have a 2nd database I use but cannot easily export/import from A to B)</p><p>My <a href="https://autistics.life/tags/Autistic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Autistic</span></a> side craves order and accuracy. My <a href="https://autistics.life/tags/ADHD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ADHD</span></a> side wants to run and hide from the task ahead. </p><p>Current folders are full. Can't get any more as company (Maplins) is gone. However they don't fit new storage/shelves as they stand anyway so need all new ones .. and nothing I see online is suitable. Found smaller ones that might fit but only hold 160 disks. .. Boris Kretzinger<p>If I may give a recommendation to those of you who might be interested: Do not buy from Strictly Limited Games. I ordered Steel Empire Chronicles 1,5 years ago, and it is still not in production. There was one lousy mail regarding this that I almost forgot already. So I asked them to either tell me when this is gonna happen or refund me. They did neither, but at least responded in a timely manner. Now I replied and hope that I'll get a least my money back. Looking over at TrustPilot, I saw that I am not the only one having issues with them. If it wasn't clear that the concept of paying for something you can maybe get in maybe a few months isn't a good one before, now it's pretty evident to me. I had some fun with Limited Run Games before, but at least they always delivered and I didn't wait more than a year. Still, that was already not my cup of tea. But I thought: SLG is a German based company, so this should work out way smoother. Well ... no. The idea has just turned into companies that run on Kickstarters that aren't Kickstarters, basically: Money up front and we'll see what we can do afterwards. This is some late stage capitalism madness 😂. But even if you as a company decide to hang out your customers to dry, at least have the courtesy to communicate! Tell us on where it's at with a game that can't be shipped. And for that - funny side note mentioned in their response to me - I should subscribe to their newsletter, as if it would help me in any way reading new Ford brochures if my ordered vehicle did not arrive as ordered. You get the idea. Too bad, I once liked the idea very much.
