Every branch of government is designed like shit. The president has too much power, the Senate in its entirety is stupid, the House having a cap and letting states pick how they elect representatives is idiotic, and just, like, all of the judiciary. It's all shit.A proper representative democracy needs to be as representative as possible while also being somewhat insulated from the reactionary whims of the populace. The US is neither.
