Marcos<p>Been inspired to make a little more progress on the <a href="https://clacks.link/tags/Minecraft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Minecraft</span></a> <a href="https://clacks.link/tags/cathedral" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cathedral</span></a> we're building. </p><p>It is based loosely on the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de <a href="https://clacks.link/tags/Chartres" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Chartres</span></a> including the labyrinth which <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://clacks.link/@solcita" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>solcita</span></a></span> designed and rendered. The build was my primary coping mechanism in the earlier part of the pandemic and as spoons allow, <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://clacks.link/@solcita" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>solcita</span></a></span> and I continue on it just as the pandemic continues. </p><p>It's worth noting that this world is a Survival world, and all of the diorite used to construct this cathedral is mined by hand. The floor is made of half-block and lit at intervals from beneath with torches lending to the criss-cross pattern visible. This is in part to prevent the spawning of mobs. </p><p>I wanted the impossible forever project, and it has not disappointed. 🙂</p>
