It's not an Aprils fools; exactly 10 years ago we had our first band rehearsal at the Willem Twee Studios.
Lars, Arie and me jammed on a couple of songs like 'the Weary Kind', 'Mack' and 'Tell it to me'.
The latter has been a live staple in our set for almost 9 years.

I want to document the way you might have a possibility to use the same software to make a similar website. @Madiator2011 already done that with blog.madiator.com. Lets go over: where you get the code, how do you set it up, how do you publish, how do you manage accounts, and most importantly, how do you modify everything, so it will look like your own thing.

Today is April Cools Day, where we post 100% genuine essays where the *choice of topic* is the surprise.

In my university's computer security class, my team discovered zero-click remote code execution vulnerabilities in a bunch of real-world apps. But the RCEs were just the start!

Right I’ve asked this before but I didn’t save the responses sufficiently because I’m a silly goose but now I’ve got a new RSS reader on my phone does anyone have a #blog or any recommendations for cool blogs I can follow? Interested in music, mostly #metal, but also open to #science and tech stuff as well as #VideoGames but happy to look at anything really. Thanks!

Some WordPress numbers from my blog... :blobcat_think:

I've had my WordPress blog since December 14th 2019. I've been sharing a lot since. The total counter says I've posted 1918 posts so far. Some were re-blogs of posts that friends shared that I enjoyed a lot. But many were/are mine.
And yesterday, I got this streak milestone. I shared posts 1750 days in a row! That's 250 weeks... Or ±57½ months... Or ±4,8 years... Which gets is to about 4 years and 9 months...
I've started the blog 1935 days ago... So yeah, it's been a while of contiguous posting since! 😁

Anywhoo... I still have several posts ready to be shared. But I will need to finish the journal post this night, as that needs to go live at 7. :ablobcatangel: can't break the streak! :blobcat_tonguewink:

I'm not sure how it is for other topics, but when it comes to programming topics, I keep finding more and more AI slop on "developer" blogs. It's getting to the point where finding helpful content is more and more difficult. I guess because the people who don't actually care about knowledge can spew slop at a much higher rate than people who produce quality content.

Dev blogs used to be a decent supplement to library docs. Not really any more. 😒
